Here I utilized my knowledge of photoshop and Illustrator to create vector files regarding the guppy cartoon figure as the main mascot for this brand and logo. I removed the 2 letter “o’s” in the word “school” and replaced it with a scuba diving mask and also created a graduation cap on top of the fish since this is an educational business geared towards children so it is necessary to add imagery to gain interest. Since this is a logo, it is particularly important to not over saturate the design with too many images or elements as this would be confusing for the audience which is why I only included a few pieces of imagery that are consistent with the brand. Lastly, I captured balance within the logo design as the text is slanted on the left side and the head of the fish is slanted on the right side wearing the graduation hat. Making the necessary updates to this logo created a better appeal to the target audience and overall better aesthetic while ensuring I implement consistent ethical standards.
